CHAIR

I moved to Montford Park in 2022 and began looking for ways to get involved in my local community, which is how I found Montford Park Partners. I have been on the Board for two years now and was recently honored to be elected Chair. As a public health professional, I am passionate about improving my community for all our residents and businesses. Volunteering with MPP has been a great opportunity to meet with local business owners, community members, and city officials to identify ways to improve Montford Park. A fun fact about me is that I am a native Charlottean, born and raised here in the QC! My favorite thing about Montford Park is the walkability. I love getting out and exploring the area, and I especially love having Little Sugar Creek Greenway stretching along the length of the neighborhood for walks, runs, and bike rides! --- Someday I hope to put on a Montford Park Fun Run along our section of the Greenway! 

VICE CHAIR
Real Estate Broker, Park Commercial Real Estate

Rankin is a Commercial Real Estate Broker with a strong personal and professional connection to the Montford Park area. He is currently serving his second year on the board as Vice Chair. Rankin joined the board to give back to a neighborhood he has supported for years and to help guide its long-term growth and success. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and golfing, and his favorite Montford spot is Sir Edmond Halley’s.

TREASURER
Assistant Commercial Property Manager, Grubb Properties

Sam Bolles grew up near Montford Park, currently lives in the neighborhood, and works in Investor Relations for Grubb Properties in Montford. He has served on the Montford Park Community Board for nearly two years and has been Treasurer for over one year. Sam joined the board to support and strengthen the community he has long called home. A Charlotte native, he enjoys everything Montford has to offer, from weekday lunches to weekend outings.

SOCIAL MEDIA CHAIR
Social Media Strategist, The Cato Corporation

​Allison is a Social Media Strategist at The Cato Corporation and has been a Montford Park resident since 2022. She serves as Social Media Chair and is approaching her first full year on the board. Allison joined the board to help shape and highlight everything that makes the neighborhood special. A devoted Charlotte sports fan, she can often be found at Brazwell’s or playing music trivia at Angry Ale’s.

COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR
Lead Graphic Designer, The Social Rook

Olivia is the Lead Graphic Designer and Team Lead at The Social Rook, which has grown alongside the Montford Park community. She has served as Communications Chair since joining the Montford Park Partners Board in Spring 2025. Olivia joined the board to build community, collaborate with local business owners, and give back to a neighborhood that became home after college. Outside of work, she loves spin classes and spending time in Montford with an iced Bonfire latte from Mugs and a walk along the greenway.

Owner, ​The Barker Lounge

Caitlin is the owner of The Barker Lounge on Montford and a longtime supporter of the neighborhood as both a former resident and business owner. She currently serves as Interim Secretary and previously served as Board Chair from 2020–2023 and again from 2024–2025. Caitlin joined the board to help shape the future of the neighborhood through resident- and business-led leadership. A passionate foodie, she loves exploring Montford’s restaurant scene, with favorites including Sir Ed’s, L’Ostrica, and Pasta & Provisions

Managing Partner, ​CoCoTiv Coworking

John brings extensive development and branding experience to Montford Park, including service on the original South End Development Corporation. He has served on the Montford Park Partners Board for seven years. John joined the board to apply his background in placemaking and branding to support Montford Park’s continued growth and identity. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and horseback riding, and his favorite way to spend time in Montford is eating out, having a beer, and bowling or shooting pool.

Clinic Director & Part-Owner of Brittian Chiropractic Charlotte

Calvin is the Clinic Director and part-owner of Brittian Chiropractic Charlotte, located in the heart of Montford Park. He joined the Montford Park Partners Board in 2025 with a focus on community events and engagement. As both a resident and business owner, Calvin joined the board to deepen his connection to the neighborhood while contributing fresh ideas and energy. He played collegiate soccer and is one of only three chiropractors in Charlotte certified in Animal Chiropractic, and his favorite Montford spots include Montford Billiards and Moosehead Grill.
